Day 6 (July 9 2010): Macleod Meadows BC to Beavertail Hills State Park MT (Site 20), 461 miles. 9:00 AM I'd reached the pleasant Macleod Meadows at 7:45 PM, on Rt 93 about 15 miles north of Radium Hot Springs BC, and was virtually alone there. After a pleasant mosquito-free night (one advantage of moving south, I guess), I used this RV water hose to wash my truck, removing sticky residue from Andrea's tree and the road dirt that had stuck to it. The mountains heading into Radium Hot Springs were spectacular, and the road offered several "runaway truck lanes," dirt paths up steep hills to the right. I left the National Parks at 9:45 AM, just before entering town.
