Day 7 (July 10), 7:00 PM I crossed the Continental Divide in Montana about noon, got my oil changed in Billings about 3:30 PM, and entered Wyoming about 5:30 PM. In northeastern Wyoming, ground that seems flat from a distance contained many of these small hills and valleys. I tried to imagine taking a covered wagon over this land. I was looking for a place to camp, but Wyoming seems short on public---or even private---campgrounds.
