Deciding 20 and 10 meter AM were not my thing, I decided to build a high-powered CW transmitter (from the 1953 Radio Amateur's Handbook) using an 813 tube. I ffoolishly began by disassembling W3MI's beautiful rack rig. The start of my 813 rig is beneath the HRO coil set in this photo.
