At 1:40 PM, I depacked at the tiny Hutchison Memorial Hut. There was room for two, end to end, on that narrow bench, and few more on the floor, but I had the bothy to myself for two nights. After coffee and updating my trail notes, about 4:30 I headed out to find Shelter Stone.
