Five minutes down, I snapped this of "Glen Derry"... but it's really Lairig Ghru! I spent an hour wandering around on the southwest face, in confusion and despair, pelted by sleet and rain among boulders much steeper and larger than this, before discovering the Taillear stream at 2:30 PM. Twenty minutes of steep ascent along its bank, and ten minutes across the plateau, brought me back to the main Ben MacDui trail. I was thrilled to see it!
