Shortly after 3:00 PM I arrived at this private campground, Stravaigers, in Fort Augustus, at the southwest end of Loch Ness. Free "wild camping" was not allowed at the lock. Although there was no campers' cook room, the showers and toilets (in the building) were excellent and town shops were only a ten-minute walk away.
