At 2:15 PM I began to set up my first truly "wild camp," about a hundred yards off the trail. The site is near the northern edge of Anagach Woods, about a mile south of Cromdale. The trees made it possible to hang my hammock, and I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon and night.
