After the June 28, 2012 farewell breakfast of my Adirondack Mountain Club tour group, I moved from our 3-star hotel to my green tarp at "Matterhorn Camping." While not visually impressive in tony Zermatt, this was a great campground, with a feature every backpacker loves: an enclosed room for cooking and eating in bad weather!
