When the trail intersection offered Europahutte 5 hrs (and Kinhutte), a rocky uphill to the right, or Europahutte 4 hrs, a forest path downhill to the left, I chose the latter and was soon thrilled to see a "Attermenzen Camping 1:45" sign. On wobbly quads, last experienced in my ultrarunning days 25 years ago, I walked the last kilometer along the highway. This June 30 photo is at the end of a rest day.
