Shortly after 6:00 PM I'd stopped at a trail sign when I heard bells and was surrounded by these friendly sheep! They trailed after me for a while, but when we approached a farm they peeled off to it. I reached Gruben's Hotel Schwartzhorn, in soaking wet rain gear, at 7:15 PM... a very tough 11-hour day.
