Day 8 (July 11), 9:30 AM I-90 in eastern Wyoming, headed toward the South Dakota line. Oh, I wished for less ignition noise on the Icom 706! Driving like this just calls out for mobile CW ham radio! Instead, I listened to Harry Potter tapes and to Dasher's old-time radio mysteries (fed into the truck's radio through a tape-cassette adapter) on my Dell laptop. I loved the glossy, stain-free shiny hood of my truck!
