I headed west from my Loch Morlich camp at 8:10 AM, Sunday July 3 (Day 38 of my trip), turned south on a wide dirt road an hour later, and reached the private Rothermels Lodge at 9:40. Forty minutes of sketchy mountain-bike trail brought me to the main Lairig Ghru path, where I turned left (south) and snapped this photo at 10:20 AM. I'm heading for that "V."
