Cathouse from lake side The east end (left end, here) is open and the cathouse is slipped in from the west (left, here) side of the cabin (the Lot 50 side). It is secured tightly to the doghouse floor (with rope, here; later with steel strap) and the door fitted into place on the east side and secured with the green paracord. Wood blocks help achieve a tight mating with the doghouse floor.
