Doghouse thermometers The "outdoor" pickup for my new Taylor indoor-outdoor thermometer is on the white lower wire; the pickup for the thermometer hanging on the outside wall of the cabin is the upper one, silver bullet with a copper tube. The Taylor, of course, hanging on my bedroom wall, gets the most use and is very comforting. Outside 18F, "outside" 52F!
